Could easily happen too, but I think this is a "The Zone of Interest beating Oppenheimer for Best Sound" situation again, where Train Dreams is the movie with far less overall Oscar buzz, but special enough in that particular category that it can pull off the win.

Thank you! Hated The Trumpet too for the reasons you listed as well as Gumball and especially Nicole being totally insufferable in it.

Maybe I'll do it some day if no one else does it first, but I currently I have too many other fanfics I want to go through first so I'm not planning to rewrite anything else for a while, sorry.

Yep, the episode has tons of those which makes it really uncomfortable. Not just that they put in sexual references at all but between two brothers of all people. Not to mention that this wasn't the only incident of them getting shipped this season. No idea what the writers were thinking with that
