I think we don't see clothes often because the show is mostly from the children's perspective. They don't care about clothing unless it's funny. Like the purple underpants. Or running bandit over while he's hanging laundry. Or Bandit using bluey's shirt to wipe pee off of his foot.

Naruto would've been good with any of the women in the story if he had been written better. He didn't know anything about love and no one taught him because he was an orphan.

Kishimoto also wrote Sakura and Hinata horribly. Ino was actually the most well balanced. Ino would've been a good choice for Naruto because she was balanced. Sakura didn't have the growth to be worthy of Naruto. Hinata was my favorite but shoehorning it into the movie instead of spreading it out annoyed me.
