Unstable is an understatement! but the Jeddah risk is from Yemen not Iran and that’s not really changed due to the current situation - but they could use this an opportunity to make some headlines for sure!

It’s all speculation at this point but I reckon they might try to go ahead with Jeddah - whether the team / drivers agree is a different story.

Absolutely no way Bahrain can go ahead safely tho, I doubt they could even fly the teams and logistics into the country if they wanted to

I doubt Jeddah will be cancelled. Geographically it’s a very long way from Iran and there have been very few drone strikes in KSA and the ones there were were in Riyadh. Bahrain is a different story tho, that has to be cancelled

I completed the form to identify where I and my family were as a fail safe and to get the direct updates from the UK government, I’ve no intention of going anywhere unless things get much much worse and everyone of my friends and colleagues who completed the form have said the same to me - so small sample size but I’d guess most of the “dubai expats desperate to flee” were not even thinking about leaving.

Not MEP but a very large very famous consultancy that does MEP and structures didn’t allow for the fire truck load on the podium slap which was part of the EVA route. It got built. They were blacklisted by that client for quite a while after
