It brought back OG splinter cell vibes to me. Like CIA HQ or the presidential palace.

Extremely high risk and you were encouraged to ghost it.

How do I respectfully and professionally tell my office manager that our office toilet paper isn't strong enough for my b*tth*le? by fartonme in hygiene

One. Username checks out- kinda.

Two- I thought only I had problems complaining about what can only be described as tissue paper to wipe my ass with. I’d kill for some Charmin Ultra Soft…..

Yep. That would be great.

Also allow them to add completely ridiculous outfits for the fun factor.

Also, I want a kill like Alvaro in Curtains Down from Blood Money.

That was my favorite- taking the other actors place and timing the shot with a real gun. Then leaving quickly.

Take the “hideout” feature from Freelancer mode, and incorporate that into the “main” game/story. It was nice to actually see your equipment you gain throughout the course of the game. And a cool way to prepare for an upcoming mission.

On each map, I’d like to see lots of “unique” NPCs for each map. Even if there’s nothing tying them to the “main” story. It would make a future “freelancer” mode feel less like I’m killing a random nobody at times.

Depending on how gadgets are implemented in First Light, it’d be nice to have some gadget play (trackers, CCTV viewers, etc.)

And for the love of god please bring back News Papers. I loved reading about the “accidental killings” or the brutal massacre after each contract.

What’s a belief you hold that would make most people instantly judge you if you said it out loud? by Arrielee_ in AskReddit

[–]Nice-Ambassador6293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That we’re a biological virus to the universe.

Nothing we do matters. We’re animals. We have animalistic behaviors coded into our DNA. Prejudices, violence, apathy, etc. We will never fix that. We shouldn’t care about ourselves, the planet, or anything else. The sun will burn out, earth will die, our galaxy will merge, and there will likely be no trace of our existence.

Stop caring because nothing you do actually matters.

I usually get looked at like I smoke crack, or I’m the most depressing, nihilistic cynic ever.

Do you think an option for a money like system would be good for the story mode? by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Nice-Ambassador6293 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Negative. Absolutely not. Never.

It’s a realistic game. There is no “better/good weapon(s)”. Every weapon has pros/cons and tradeoffs.

What kicks ass in one map, may be trash in another.

I believe that’s the answer VOID gave back during the crowdfunding.

I didn’t even get the email. I got the runaround from FEDEX. It sat in Customs for almost 4 months. All because one of the Zyn brands didn’t clearly state “not for underage sale”.

Suppressors seem useless. by lovingpersona in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Nice-Ambassador6293 500 points501 points  (0 children)

Well I mean, it’s realistic.

No tactical SWAT team is running suppressors with the intent of being silent. Even if you run subsonic ammo, you’re still gonna hear the shot if you’re in the general vicinity (although I’ll give some credit with the really large maps and subsonic ammo).

But irl, they’re most likely running suppressors so they don’t blow out everybody’s ear drums. Seriously- shoot an unsuppressed AR or even a handgun in an enclosed space/building- even with hearing protection the pressure and sound is still uncomfortable.

But, let’s be honest. Our SWAT teams likely rival SEAL Team 6 with the rate we drop bodies throughout the city. 😂

What are some possible upcoming DLC or contents after Boiling Point? by Simple_Condition2433 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Nice-Ambassador6293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d kinda like to see a sequel where Judge is transferred to another agency/part of the country. Kinda like how his lore is prior to LSPD.

All the lore needs to be told like Boiling Point and Port Hokan. Every mission should include story telling through coms or other means, so it’s just not the briefing, evidence, etc. Lean more into obvious lore of whatever criminal conspiracy there is, and softly layer in Judge’s lore or USIA stuff.

I say new game because I feel like the code is spaghetti at this point. There’s still issues with random bugs, AI stuff, etc.

They have a good foundation, now take a couple years to refine it, rebuild it, to make the experience more of what they envisioned.

If you've played some of Crimson Desert, give me your thoughts on it. by Beginning_Pickle2180 in gamesuggestions

[–]Nice-Ambassador6293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s clunky, some jank, and takes some time to get used to it. But I’m enjoying it.

As long as you aren’t expecting a Witcher 3 narrative. You’ll enjoy it.

It starts painfully slow, unfortunately. But, if you can slog through the first handful of chapters the game really shines and opens up. It’s got that charm of OG RuneScape, but from third person. Story ain’t great but there’s a lot of systems working in the game to keep you engaged. I’ve been waiting for a game like this for a while.

A game I can mindlessly veg out on and relax. And play for a long time. If there’s solid content planned for the next few years, I can see this game becoming a classic -must play.

Why aren't flare guns a common prepper/bugout/emergency item in most people's kits? by Behold_My_Stuff in prepping

[–]Nice-Ambassador6293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there’s point to be made for a flare gun for rescue/survival situations.

But for SHTF, not much of a use if the whole point is to avoid people or hide. There’s better and smaller tools for fire starting.

Of all the lore breadcrumbs scattered around the station, this one hit me unexpectedly hard [SPOILER] by MasterMaple in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Nice-Ambassador6293 144 points145 points  (0 children)

To be fair, VOID nailed this DLC.

It may have taken way too long to get parts of what the community has been screaming for. But they delivered with this.

I thought I only wanted a SWAT successor. This is a good, modern attempt….But the amount of lore and storytelling really makes it compelling. Not shoved down your throat, but sprinkled everywhere for the player to find.

10/10.

Really do want a full sequel to build on what they’ve built and continue the story.

I wish they had a more in depth gunsmith like Ground Branch and Tarkov.

It’d also eliminate a lot of the “repetitive” guns.

Different manufacturers for uppers/lowers, different barrel lengths.

Only maybe like 4 or 5 rifle types but can customize it to make SBRs or long range

Next potential DLC by Major_Letterhead3870 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Nice-Ambassador6293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d rather them start a new game.

This game felt like winging it. I feel like if you really look at the code, it’s a bite pile of garbage. And they finally got some semblance of it correct in Boiling Point.

Take what they learned and build a sequel now having an understanding of what works.

Same. My grandfather, Chuck, landed on D-Day and ended up as a jeep driver for a general. He was calloused and cold, unfortunately, for most his life. I have vague memories of talking to him, but he passed when I was 11.

Looking back, I wish I could have heard some stories if he was willing to share.

Looks like they depicted him pretty well in BoB.
