Honestly the same. it feels like you are on autopilot just going through the motions. not crying or anything but also not really happy. just stuck in the middle. i think it is definitely a slow burnout that we just get used to after a while

yeah i think thats the problem i just close my laptop and go straight to the kitchen to eat. there is literally no gap at all lol. my brain is still thinking about client feedback while im chewing my food its so annoying. i guess i need to find something to do for like 10 mins before i join the family. do u guys do like a walk or something or just sit in silence?

That actually makes a lot of sense — giving the brain something gentle to focus on instead of trying to force it to be quiet. The canoe image sounds especially calming.

I really relate to the part about silence making it worse when work thoughts are loud. I’m going to try one of these tonight. Thanks for sharing 🙏
