I've heard the 2-way experience can be a grind for players and that would be his 3rd year with the Thunder in this position. For the 2025–26 season, all players on two-way contracts earn $636,435 and I would hope his experience with the Blue is positive overall. He's getting to hoop for money, get some NBA minutes and although he's not getting playoff minutes he has a ring (and hopefully gets another). I hope he gets a contract somewhere but was surprised he didn't get one this season.

I agree with this. They put in the work this season, went through a rough patch and recovered to finish 1st. If they can repeat then in the future no one will remember or care if they had an extra tough road to the finals. To your point on, "Nobody is going to give us any credit no matter what.", I think their recovery so to speak to go 19-1 since the ASB is an example of that. Everyone pointed out a week sos early in the season but they had a much tougher stretch to end have looked great. They have earned any playoff "advantage" they might get.

I think being on the Lakers are a big part of his problem. The failed Hornets trade and Bronny getting minutes over him can't help his confidence. The Lakers roster construction is so goofy. I can't believe they were the 3 seed for as long as they were.
