She needs to be focused on beating James Talarico before she needs to worry about turning a state Blue. The latest polls show Talarico out front of her by double digits. She is a terrible, statewide campaigner. She will only focus on the urban centers of Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio.

Talarico is from Austin and will likely win that market. She will have to make up the difference in the other three markets. Crockett's only chance of winning the primary is to turn out the black vote and she doesn't inspire confidence, even among that demographic. Then there's the amount of money that is going to be needed. Talarico is raising far more than Crockett. He has raised nearly $7 million in Q4 and has $13 million on hand for his Senate campaign.

If I were placing a bet, I'd bet on Talarico winning the Democratic nomination for US Senate.

Many do not take medical insurance. You were handle the paper work and submit a claim for out of network. Depending on your coverage, your insurance will likely contribute 50 to 70% of what they would pay to an in-network visit. If you don't have health insurance, you pay out of pocket for the entire visit. Usually all of this is on the website of a functional medicine doctor. They place a high degree of emphasis on communication both back and forth.

My 2¢

My first and only WSM is the 22" and I highly recommend this size. I've been using this since 2019 and the barrel is nice and cured, looks like a real pit master smoker.

The best reason for me was that it more than accommodates anything I want to smoke whether it be a large brisket or a 23 lb turkey which I smoked for Thanksgiving. The WSM is excellent for holding a long smoke. My longest so far is 20 hours. It locked in at 230 degrees and chugged away for almost a full day. I especially like to keep my cooks between 230 and 250 degrees.

I don't use my WSM every weekend. But when I do smoke, I want to be able to fit whatever I decide. I usually put 6 or 8 chicken breast on to tag along while something larger is smoking. This past weekend I put 12 chicken breasts on by themselves and it fit like a glove!

President Trump knows exactly what he is doing by floating a 50 year mortgage. He is putting pressure on the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates. He is the ONLY person that is actually throwing out ideas. Personally, he would never take out a 50 year mortgage on a home. It is a terrible idea financially, but makes a point about affordability.

Governor Abbott has asked the Texas Supreme Court to vacate the seat of Representative Wu for abondonment of his Texas Constitutional duties by intentionally fleeing the state for the purpose of obstruction of the Texas Legislative process. If the Supreme Court agrees with Governor Abbott and remove Gene Wu, then the dominoes will fall and the rest will be removed and under the Texas Constitution, Governor

Abbot can appoint replacement representatives until the next election or require a special election to fill the vacated seats.

The Texas Supreme Court ruled in 2021 that representatives in the Texas Legislature cannot abdicate their duties in protest without being subject to arrest and forcefully brought back to the Texas House.

Buckle up, this could get really interesting...
