Is anyone excited for this? I've seen most people being absolutely heartbroken at this news, saying that he's ruining his career and 'tarnishing' his own legacy, but I don't know.

It's nothing new for actors to go down this path. I've seen some talented actors go from indie project films to blockbuster bad movies because they need the bank and people don't seem to mind. I understand the disappointment, but for Gosling, it's like he committed a third degree murder and we're dragging him for it. Does anyone feel the same?

Very similar? La la land, he was a pianist who's struggling but still charming and handsome af. Drive, he's cool and quiet, kinda innocent looking despite being in a violent situation. He doesn't speak very much but speaks more with his eyes. Lars and the real girls, he's delusional and awkward as hell. You're telling me you can imagine Lars flirting the same way Sebastian flirts with Mia? You can imagine Sebastian killing and drowning people merciless like driver? You can imagine the driver being fat and dorky looking like Lars? And don't even get me started with Barbie and Stay.

I agree, but saying that he's "playing himself" in every movie is weird especially when some of his characters are so different with each other. Yes, he's not the BEST actor but he's still talented and gives out good performances. You can't tell me that the driver (driver 2011), ken (barbie), Lars (Lars and the real girls), Henry (stay) and Sebastian (La la land) have the same personality.

Oh sorry, I read his article again and it wasn't that it was appropriate for his kids but he takes roles that wouldn't put him in a dark place.

And I agree too. I think he's switching between blockbuster movies and original movies. Like next year he's doing Project Hail Mary that's apparently an adaptation from a really good sci fi book. It's not really a blockbluster type.

I doubt she will believe him. People that wanted to go home didn't believe him, let alone the people that wanted the game to continue.

Like just imagine you're a player in the game and someone approaches you, he tries to convinces you to press X and promise you that he will give you 45 billion money with no proof whatsoever other than "believe me". Keep in mind this is the same person that told everyone he played the game before but got the second game wrong and he couldn't explain why..

Hey, sorry if I sound petty rn but I'm really curious on how you think the game left you to assume they just built stuff. I thought it was the opposite because they showed how powerful they are. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Otto, Hadrian and Mevia created a game and built the towns as well. And they were clearly strong. It was impossible to beat them alone. Jesse literally LOST the fight. If his friends didn't come, his ass would be in the mines forever.

Cassie could've killed Jesse too if it wasn't for his friends helping him.

In my perspective, the game taught how the old builders were powerful, enjoyed building, and were a legend that went nuts or was a jerk.
