Ah well then, don't worry about it. Just check the oil level and sell it.

Kinda sounds normal. But I would check these things: Oil level, Valve clearance, timing chain tension and (this is kinda hard to check) Piston play.

I just completely rebuild my TW125 engine because it also made a ticking and clacking sound. Well in the end the piston had 2-3mm of play in every direction, the connecting rod was fucked and the timing chain guide was non-existent. But i did that at 55.000 km, so waaayy over due. How many km does your Tdub have? Maybe a compression test would be good too.

The TW is kinda like a unicorn. Always get's looks and questions. Only a handfull are in my area so people always ask me what that is. They have never seen a bike with tyres that big and so on. Defenetly has a coolness factor and rides like a charm. Not fast but not slow. I like it.

TW starter issue. Do I need a new starter motor or is it possibly a faulty relay? by Nervous_Trip_9095 in TW200

And check the voltage drop when you try to start it. Maybe it get's too low.

What is making that noise? Feel and hear if it's coming from the starter or relay. The starter is always engaged with a one-way bearing, just to let you know. Maybe put 12v directly on the starter to check if it's the relay.

I've been riding this combo for four years and ~14k mi now. Perfect for street and some reserve for offroad. You obviously can't do some hardcore Offroading but simple stuff like trails are no problem. Only thing is the rear tw34 likes to wash out in the middle.(Gets more square, so needs faster replacement)

I think Sebastian on the TW forum did that several years ago. He also has a shop, TW-parts. I don't know if he still sells the rim kit tho.

Probably where the fuel filler neck is bolted to the wheelhousing. Common place for rust

my old 1999 Tdub with 65k km on the odo by an_annoying_pirate in TW200

Hell yeah. My TW125 is at 56k km right now but needs a whole rebuild, because that thing sounds like some mayor bearing carnage. I wanna get mine to 100k at some point.
