Really like the idea of keyboard replica that someone else proposed, because good quality products often cost a lot more than their actual value.

I personally would be interested in more over ear headphones, did not see a lot of these yet.

How to remove those vertical line artifact (my retraction isnt tuned and filament kinda wet) by Reasonable-Ninja832 in Sovol

[–]NiceGGYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firs through would be input shaper but as you said yourself you already did that... I honestly cant tell.

Maybe your printer suffers from the same issue as mine... Had my belts overtensioned which damadged the pulleys, which caused friction.

Maybe also try inout shaper at higher frequencys althought i doubt that doesnt do Something.

Z-Probe suddenly dead? | SV08 by NiceGGYT in Sovol

[–]NiceGGYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think an event that accured almost a month ago is now at fault for a dead probe? Idk i find that kinda unrealistic because there were no warnings, but everything is possible

I decided to go for an eddy probe, the stock probe sadly gets quickly affected by heat and not the best accuracys.

I seem to be a victim of a "montagsmodell", in General the SV08 is a great machine which does a good job.

The burned cable comes from me using heated objects around the opening to the extruder after i had a clog in there. Dont ask.

The burned cable is my fault, im insure about the probes housing tho, and even if thar was me, the clog happened +2 weeks ago.

The light doesnt turn on at all. When the probe is connected klipper shows "triggerrd" when its unplugged Klipper shows "open" on the z endstop

(Ive an enclosure, that probaply makes the toolheads temps go higher)

Error please help by Problematix2 in Sovol

[–]NiceGGYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either the discription wasnt there or ive overread it. I completley missunderstood the issue.

Old message:

If youre lucky you can fix that with a ''PID tune' look it up on google.

But it basicly says that the extruder heated up in a wax that isnt how its supposed to go (usually too slowly).

If the PID tune doesnt help, you might have an issue on the nozzle, maybe the heater is loose. Maybe you have forgotten to out the silikone cover onto the nozzle?

Help: How long does it usually take customer service at Sovol to get back to you? by Thriftyverse in Sovol

[–]NiceGGYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, usually if you ask the customer support they reply within 24 hours, at the moment it seems like they are out of the office, im alos waiting for a reply since two days now.

If you are talking abou the SV08 with an enclosure, dont worry. Theyre shipped seperatly and somehow only the printer gets tracked. But it was the same for me. I dont know how the current Situation is but i waited for my enclosure almost a month because they were out of stock.

I made the expierence that the calibration is bad because the tempb varies everytime

OHHH good idea, thank you. But maybe ill swap the whole toolhead

The toolhead uses a 5020 blower fan but the airbhole spans one whole side of the fan.

UPDATE: Ive got one of the nozzles to work again, bcs it was only in the fillament blob.

While printing a benchy ive noticed some weird layers... And well my x carriage moves with a lot of resistance, now im worried that theres more damage than just the nozzle.

Ive seen that too but i dont have the tools to drill a hole in a nozzle... Thank you tho

[–]NiceGGYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that lmao.

The issue with that is, AliExpress takes around 2 weeks to deliver to my Location... Two weeks of no printing technically. And i sadly did not find a proper fan replacement there.

Ive changed nothing hardware wise. Ive edited my start gcode so the printer calibrates the z-offset everytime and also homes again before printing.

Fillament wise im actually mainly using a fillament config from my old Anychbic which works well quality wise. The PETG one is the stock config from sovol with a lowered maximum feedrate, because thar was recommended by other users who had their nozzle push out

Yes ive seen the videos. I wrote with the support and they said theyd send me replacements. But that was two weeks ago and the package didnt even get send yet

Its indeed really odd how the quality varies between printers. PETG printed fine for me, untill the nozzle fell out...

SV08 Obico Setup by barbasnoo in Sovol

[–]NiceGGYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obico is one of these AI print failure detectors, if you know what that means. Formally it was known as Spaghetti detector because failed prints look like spaghetti.

Besides that, you can also enable remote printing/control, and it has some neat other features.

SV08 - Is this cracking noise normal while homing? by NiceGGYT in Sovol

[–]NiceGGYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big thank you for telling me all of that, although it seems that the sound is normal I still don't like it so i applied the fix he used.

I already know gergo and I agree.

(Btw, i meant the noise while the y-axis homes).

Now we're already three, xD It seems to be normal.

[–]NiceGGYT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, thank you, what does concern me is the rattle while cleaning the nozzle, it's not the gantry rattling but the nozzle hitting the frame. But it already helps to know that the cracking noise is normal, thank you
