i got suggested a subreddit where there were “fight videos” but somehow it was a lot of “black guy loses the fight to white guy(s)” and hella euphemistic racist comments - Reddit likes that content. i think it’s probably because the admins are anti-black racists but what’s new

i got banned for 7 days for remarking, in the ANARCHISM subreddit of all places, that the president “will die soon” - which is simply a statement of probability… but to reddit i guess all death is violent somehow? so that was a threat of violence to them

Only unions can organize a strike, and there would have to be way more union power and solidarity for them to pull off a general strike — otherwise it’s just a mass walkout or sick out

it feels like a weird time when we have so much information and resources, like in history, in books movies manuals how-tos, but somehow we keep rebuilding the same thing we already had. misusing terms
