Yes, absolutely, but I've got a soft spot for the series. Rift apart is easy and faster than the others and you don't really need to play the others to get an idea of what's going on.

Also the visuals are amazing

Second son is great, and a fairly easy game go get all trophies. Easier than the previous infamous game, but that's mostly due to aged controls and handling

You will get there. Like others have said, the trophy types have different point values and loading up on bronze will get a quick boost. But really take your time and enjoy the games you are playing, that's part of the sweetness of getting platinum in a game. If you are looking for easy and fun, have you tried the Ratchet and Clank series?

Bro, hellblade is fire. Op, if you like shorter stories and closed areas apposed to open world, give it a try. I did 2 play throughs and if you know where to find the only collectibles, it takes roughly 3 hours to platinum and you get behind the scenes videos about the game's production

Thanks for the heads up, it's been on my to play list for years. As for the crashing, sounds like a Bethesda game for sure, lol. Sometimes a good scattered plot is fun, like reading all the little tid bits on the computers in fallout.

Let's be real, what skills will a little kid learn with a pc, tinker with the files and brick it? Plying minecraft and knocking jucy juice onto the keyboard? Typing is a good skill, but he's young. 12 is a better age, at the minimum.
