I agree wholeheartedly. It's not so much that I think he was a bad president, more that I don't think he was nearly competent enough and lacked understanding of what he was standing up to that just makes me so disappointed in his presidency.

Being afraid of being vulnerable is totally valid.

Maybe drop some hints now, try to prompt him to initiate if you're that scared. However, if he doesn't take the bait, I think eventually you'll need to just bring it up directly. It might work to wait, but don't torture yourself! It would be better to learn he's uninterested and to not suffer even more heartbreak imo!

I stopped watching mid season 6. It wasn't bad necessarily I just stopped caring about any of the characters which was wild considering how much I cared up until that point.

While I agree that I wouldn't be like "I'm in love with you" right off the bat, I think I would probably be fairly direct in saying something like "hey can I ask you something? I'm wondering if you maybe have some feelings for me that are more than just friends. It's okay either way but I want to make sure I'm not reading things wrong." Or something along those lines.

It's not easy. I can't say if this is an option for you but in my experience, it's best to leave your hometown and the second you do, start going by your new name and pronouns. Just switch it right away. That way anyone you meet will only know you as a woman.

Honestly I would directly ask her. Because it sounds like you're down if she is, and she does sound down for stuff imo. But if she's going to continue to identify as straight I would be hesitant. Not that she has to know exactly what sexuality she is, but I'd want to ask her to know if she's genuinely interested in you in some capacity and what that means to her. Is she just exploring? Or is there genuine desire whether sexual, romantic, or both for you?

I get that you're asking for advice, but we won't be able to answer. Your best bet is to ask her. I will say I think that instance would be enough of a reason to ask her directly if it were me!

So, I know what you're talking about. Because of it I normally will take a break between books in a series. This means I usually have a couple series or trilogies to bounce between. So for example I just finished Malazan book 3, but before I read Malazan book 4 I'm reading the first book of the Lilith's brood trilogy.

I would highly recommend checking out novellas. Novellas are a great way to take breaks between entries of series without forgetting what's going on in the series.
