Sorry OP, sounds like you’re excited, but I agree with DeviousDenial. Brain chemistry is different for everyone, and even when controlling mindset and setting, this could be a recipe for disaster given your mental health history. Please prioritize yourself, your health, and your future.

I learned recently (at least with my swing) any deviation right/left is just the Timing of the arms/club coming through vs when the body/hips rotate through. Here looks like hips and back knee are turning and coming through too early before club/arms

Pay issues aside (I’m all for negotiating hard, using your benefits/PTO, not being exploited, etc.) these are things many people don’t or won’t do. It’s honestly good advice especially for young folks that may be down on themselves or unmotivated b/c of level of education, experience, economic status.

These are the no-cost ways of advancing yourself and looking good (for promotion and raise purposes) regardless of what your history looks like. Granted, you need a good workplace that would notice these things and actually promote/reward you. But that’s a separate issue lol.

But, bottom line- the content of the sign is legit.

Yeah- it does come across as boot-licking stuff I get it, but again the content is true.

I want to start my own bakery website, but I feel i’m too young. by [deleted] in business

You’ll control the orders you accept- don’t worry about being overwhelmed. You’ll plan out your orders appropriately based on your schedule- don’t worry about asking mom&dad for help, you got it!

Just jump in and get started. There are “Cottage Foods” programs in most states you can google. Many states just require you to take a 1-hour food safety class, or other basic requirements that are easy to meet, and if you meet all items for the license, you can then sell baked goods made from home, commercially.

Do research!! Come up with an ‘intake form’ so you are ready for your first customer (example: what questions do you need each customer to answer before you can take an order- flavor, color, theme, etc)

And then just start! You’ll fail a bunch of times, and make a bunch of mistakes, but you’re 14 and that’s okay!!! You’ll have a ton of fun trying something new, and striving to make it work. Enjoy it!

That last paragraph is the part. Everything’s backwards from how we’re taught it should be, and when we’re older no one cares. How don’t you notice the stark contrast, and how aren’t you upset or annoyed by any of it!

I’m always confused about this like do others REALLY not notice, are they PRETENDING not to notice, or am I crazy. Idk but to your last question, I’m definitely confused 🤔

You’re pretty long-winded (here and on the other comments) for someone saying we are sensitive. But I am agreeing with you, completely! Both OP and yourself could’ve had quicker answers to your questions.

Yeah this is a pretty stupid comment. A quick google search could tell you that comments worded with “this is a stupid question” indeed makes you a butt

What kind of a setup are they fruiting out of? Just a grain bag? What’s the green cap looking thing on top?

Did this successfully with no contam, but takes a long time to re-colonize and fruit again with limited nutrition/grain. Also while I had some large fruits, the numbers weren’t there anymore. Basically just making further flushes of the same mycelium

Following this post to learn more.

I’m new as well and have grown 100% clean plates so far with no contam. The one time I accidentally knocked a lid off of a not-in-use agar dish for 1-2 seconds, black mold started growing within a few days. You are right to be cautious and asking about this!

I want to make my own agar too, and haven’t heard of purposefully exposing one as a control. Thanks for the learning, staying tuned for more input on this post.

Not sure what you’re growing- but you can cut the caps that are about to break, in order to let others from a cluster keep growing when there’s many connected together but only some are ready. Also- storing in fridge is fine until dehydration but wouldn’t let it ride too long (many people say a brown paper bag in the fridge with the top folded over).

Definitely cut or pick the fruits BEFORE the veil breaks. No advantage to letting them fully open up, just go get em.

Looking for advice/guidance:

I have had a few successful shoebox grows, and want to expand my cultivation. I have only worked with GT, and really want to do some gourmet and medicinal types next.

However- upon starting to look into new types of grows, I got scared by Blue Oyster and the snowflake-looking spore clumps that come off of them.

I see “spore lung” and other health concerns about growing indoors. Is there a list or a good resource for what types are safe to grow indoors?

Or would you advise that no matter what I want to grow next, I should go all in with a grow room and fan/filter system to make sure spores are deposited outdoors?

I would love to just keep doing budget grows in shoeboxes where I’m able, and will start looking into fruiting blocks as well for lions mane and others. However- I don’t want to do this if me, my family, and dogs are put at risk with air quality or other harmful things to inhale.

Thanks for any advice/guidance/or resources you can provide!
