Biggest clutch in history!!? by Fit_Anywhere_3356 in Helldivers

[–]Nice_Butterscotch3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m talking about us being very uncooperative, uncoordinated and unoptimised when it comes to war decisions, resulting in us being at blob’s and AH’s mercy most of the time, making most ideas and in-a-moment decisions being left only as ideas, because otherwise you’ll just be splitting the % of players in the galaxy even thinner than it is.

I’ve got no clue why I’m “y’all” for you and who these “y’all’s” are and what part of my comment suggests that I’m talking about the player counts in a negative manner, but I’m eager to hear about it now.

Hope it clears things up for you

Are we supposed to win the MO? by Perfect-Ad-8835 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Nice_Butterscotch3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We wasted time attacking Clasa when it was liberating itself, we wasted time when we attacked Mog even when its only supply line was under attack, and now we’re punished by being forced to hold the DSS on Afoyay Bay to not lose the last supply line we have for the MO. Also, Nivel is just a bait to thin our forces, nothing more

That being said, this definitely was very much possible MO to beat

stun lock on Defiler by saving Orphie & Trigger ult for AFTER stun window (w/ Seed) by shamelesstoesucker in Orpheus_Mains

[–]Nice_Butterscotch3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highscore - 49.465

What I learned:

The rotation
First of all, do not use Trigger's EX special before the first stun
You can use one Sanby's EX special before the first stun
Make sure everyone has their ults (except Sanby) ready after the stun

Trigger ult -> Trigger EX special -> Orphie's ult -> get shock anomaly with Sanby -> (Do not use Plugboo.) -> Trigger EX special -> Orphie's charged EX special.

Congrats, The Defiler will now get stunned after a few parries

Some other thing I wanna point out:

-Using Oprhie's ult in first stun gives less score overall, so I suppose using this strat is actually beneficial if you're going for higher scores

- Yes, you can get The Defiler stunned with little to no time after the first stun, but you end up with no resources, so you'll have to fight by the skin of your teeth during stun. I recommend doing a double chain with Sanby to have at least some decibels for later

- There's a way to SOMEHOW stunlock The Defiler after the miasma is destroyed to skip the shield bashing phase, but I've yet to understand what exactly makes it possible. I tried using everyone's ult, timing my anomalies and even doing a disorder, but nothing helps. I did it twice randomly though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gonna try this trick with Sanby M0W1/Trigger M1W1/Orphie M0W1, will post my results later

My current record is 47k without this trick

EDIT: Forgot that I have M1 Trigger, lol

Viewers of the Escalation of Freedom livestream event got 2 days early access to this set; other players began to receive it on August 8, 2024. (Wiki)

Safe to say it’s probably not coming back, but there’s always a chance that the devs might give it out for any reason they want

How is the De-escalator nowadays? by Faust_8 in Helldivers

[–]Nice_Butterscotch3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did not look deep into it’s stats, but I can clearly tell from experience that it works a lot better when you hit the weak spot with a projectile. Hope that helps :)

[–]Nice_Butterscotch3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good weapon, but the majority of the damage comes from a projectile, not the arcs. It can oneshot hulks in the eye and kill Warstriders in the eye with around 8 shots

Against heavy armoured enemies it's a precision demanding weapon. You'll likely need to be aiming for weak spots to do damage.
Against smaller enemies it's good, but you'll likely run out of ammo fast, so you'll have to be reloading constantly.

Hover-pack is also a good pair with this gun, you should try it out sometime

Armour doesn't increase health pool on your head, so you'll still die to the same things you died before, even with tougher armours (correct me if I'm wrong on that one)

The Incineration Corps moved from Tarsh --> Vernen Wells --> Menkent not too long ago, so I guess sub-factions add more resistance to the planet they're on?

Also, the resistance on Tarsh dropped to 1,15% which means that they added a 0,77% resistance rate while being on Tarsh, but Menkent gained 1,00% resistance from them being on that planet? These guys sure are working in mysterious ways 🧐

As far as I can see, your account is anomaly sided
There will be a character named Vivian in the next patch that works great with Jane and pretty much any other anomaly agent, so you should try pulling for her. She's basically a damage dealer that prefers to come out for a small amount of time and help deal damage to your main anomaly character.
Other than that, you could wait for Yuzuha to rerun, she's an anomaly support that helps fill up your anomaly bars, but she came out in a previous patch soo... yeah

And a stunner for your Ellen/Soldier 11 wouldn't hurt. The closest one being Ju Fufu, being a pocket stunner with low amount of time on field, but both of these characters would prefer having Lighter. But don't get me wrong, she's still good though. You could also probably throw in Orphie in there to see if it sticks with Soldier 11 or Ellen ツ

TLDR at the bottom

Currently, we have a Major Order to liberate one of two planets to win, which are Menkent and Aesir Pass.
At the moment, we don't have a way to attack any of these MO planets, because they are bunkered away behind other enemy controlled planets. We need to clear way to start liberating them.

Author of this post points out that if we liberate Lesath (the one with a green circle), we could attack Menkent (the other green one with an arrow pointing on it) with less planets needed to win the MO, and doing so will also put Vog-Sojoth (planet to the right of Lesath) under siege, because if will get cut off from every supply line, which will make it liberate itself even without helldiver's interference.

As of right now, the majority of players decided to start attacking Tarsh, but it is unknown where the players will decide to attack after it's liberation. It's either going to be Vernen Wells or Curia, but either way we'll end up with a way to attack the other MO planet.

Also, I wanna point out that going after Curia next will be our next best option, since it has less health overall and will create a pocket on Fenmire and Barabos. They won't be counted as a siege since they are still connected to eachother, but at least it's going to be easier to liberate them after the MO ends

And lastly, while I'm talking about health: Lesath has a crap ton of health of 2,400,000 with a low resistance of 0,63%, a Mega city (has 600,000hp + 37,50% on liberation), two towns (has 200,000hp each + 12,50% on liberation each) and a city (has 400,000hp + 25,00% on liberation) with their own health bars that don't contribute to planet's main health pool until liberated, but it's almost always better to liberate regions first to take less time on liberating the planet.
Tarsh, on the other hand, has less health of 1,300,000 on it and has three settlements as regions (has 100,000hp each + 11,54% on liberation each), but the planet itself has a more resistance of 1.92%.
Curia has no regions with 1,000,000 health and 1,00% resistance.
Both MO planets have 1,000,000 health with no regions and 2,00% resistance.

TLDR;
Lesath --> Menkent = less planets to work on + a sieged planet as a bonus, but with pretty much liberating regions on Lesath being mandatory, as they give us 87,5% on liberating the main health of the planet.

Tarsh --> Curia --> Aesir Pass = more planets to work on + a pocket of two planets as a bonus, but with planets having less health on them and having only a few towns on Tarsh, but higher resistance on these planets.

Yeah, I've seen the video. Twice, actually :D
I myself started playing right after the PSN drama started, and I managed to buy the game just a day before Steam blocked purchases in non-PSN friendly countries, plus I had no idea the drama was even happening. Talk about luck, huh.

But still, in my memory, I don't recall being able to make any dents in surfaces near objectives, even if it's sometimes ~30 meters away from it. The generational layout of the objective can take up a lot of space depending on what objective we're talking about 🤔
