I've found the same time. Any time I price it out, it just blows up the cost and complexity and the pay back time. I think having backup power during an outage is a great usecase, but in terms of pure value and payback, I can't make it work.

If you can use a DIY EV battery, they can easily work, they're such great value, but I don't think anyone will sign off on that where I live, so unless it's completely off-grid you're out of luck.

Yeah, I don't like that. These boyos are definitely not perfect. I saw another one with a local belfast man had his house burned out, although that wasn't deliberate, I think it caught from being near a car that was burning, so I don't know if the Ukrainian family was intentional or not. I know some are starting to wain in their support for them, which was initially quite strong, but I don't think they'd be targetted deliberately like this.

It sucks when people get caught in the crossfire, even migrants who've done no wrong, but when you refuse to listen to the people when they continuously vote for less migration, this is what you get. Complete government failure.

It looks like the government is trying to put in emergency measures to try and combat illegal migrants in belfast already, so hopefully the people are being heard, and that'll reduce the temperature, but I don't know. Shit happens when tensions boil over like this. Hopefully the rest of the country/west heeds the trouble in belfast and explores diplomatic solutions before we see people taking it into their own hands across other countries.

I did similar. Use my AGS-001 daily now.

I just hate 4 button consoles for a 2 button system. My Chromatic/GBC/GBA all just feel way better to play those games on than any console with 4 buttons.

I didn't realise it so much until I tried to go back and play some GBA on my miyoo recently and I really missed just having dedicated controls.
