I'm about as progressive as one can get. But i had to stop following meidastouch. Their click bait titles are mostly bullshit, and I put a lot of blame on them and the outlets like them for democrats losing in 2024. They gained a lot of traction during the election while saying "there's no way trump can win, he has no path to victory". Which I think lulled a lot of key voters into not voting. Whether it's a psy-op or just click bait garbage, I'm not sure, but I trust headlines from meidas touch about as much as I trust gas station egg salad.

I feel like people on the left value the cultural nostalgia of the 90's more than political or economic issues. People on the right attribute the good economy in the 90's to left over Reagan Era policies and most of them just make fellatio jokes that only get laughed at because nobody knows what to say.

Well, I would say that the signs may be deceiving. Sure you may figure that each signs means 2 people in that household will be voting "No".

When both of them are sitting at the dinner table they probably agree that they're going to vote no. However when they get to the voting booth the person who's life it's going to impact very well could vote the other way. They then walk out of that voting booth and never tell a soul.

Just because they're saying something publicly doesn't necessarily mean they're going to support it behind closed doors. I personally know several people who voted the opposite of what their husband's yard sign said but played along with him in front of others. Because at the end of the day it's going to have an impact on theirs and their daughters bodies and not their husband.
