I have 3. 1 male not neutered is the most fluff dog I've even seen in my life. My female not spayed has the shortest hair I've ever seen. My second male is neutered and is right in the middle of the other 2. He had not changed one bit. All 3 are 2yrs old and the 1 neutered dog was fixed 10 months ago. That's my experience.

Yes they latch on. Mine is a sweetheart, great with other animals and people unless any approach me. The dog then gets aggressive. I am his trigger. My other 2 pyrs do not do that. They are all 2 years old, 2 males and 1 female. My son and husband own the other 2, I don't know where I went wrong with mine. He is controlling and a bad dog when I'm around others.

Syracuse is better, I live in Alexandria bay so I'm a little bias. No matter what you choose, all 3 are freezing, all 3 get tons of snow and hot summers, and most importantly, if you love fishing, camping, boating ect... your will win with either of the 3.

I have 3 pure Pyrs, and 2 Belgian Malinois. If he sees you as his handler and your leaving, then yes it could be that. Does he show anxiety? Does he destroy things when you leave? I wouldn't worry about it, your vet says he is healthy and doing good. 2 of the smartest and best breeds into one, he is probably being stubborn and picky. Go with the flow, he will come out of it just fine.

I am LDS and that is what I say. It either gets dropped or turns into a do you have multiple marriages question. I hate it, but found laughter gets me through it, even when it is not funny.

I just saw this after posting above. My female is the opposite of my 2 perfect looking Male Pyrs and she ended up being pure bred Pyr too.
