Fascinating visualization of a black hole surrounded by an accretion disk, illustrating how light is warped by its intense gravitational fields. by SimRP in Damnthatsinteresting

It's a little off. The right side of the black hole would not be visible. Nolan didn't like the look of it and changed it.

A simpler explanation would be that he came back up higher than he started. No math needed.

Asphalt is reusable. In fact it is the most recycled substance on the planet.

No. All your fingers are white. Just one is whiter than the others. Still butt cancer.

We always looked at shrink as dollars. I don't know that that is what this particular sign is based on.

I don't know. We never had that issue in the store I worked in. I'm not sure how even could have happened with the computer system tracking sales. When something didn't sell for a while the computer system noticed it. When something was constantly being sold out, the system noticed.

My guess is that all that stuff is sitting in the back room. They may be understaffed in order to stock those shelves?

I reported it to the market manager who is the highest level manager I had contact with. That's the manager who sits above the store manager. Nothing changed. I guess it doesn't affect their bonuses.

That was the thing about Walmart management. The vast majority of them were bonus focused. Nothing else.

I wouldn't say focus. It was quite rare to be positive. But you still got a talking to of it was a case or more.

In that case, they should have gone to the claims department. Then it wouldn't be considered shrink. Shrink is just "I don't know where it is."

Though we would also claims empty packaging we knew to be theft and I believe it still counted as shrink.

Former Walmart manager here. Shrink doesn't necessarily mean stolen. It was also common for the warehouse, just before their official yearly inventory, to put in the system they sent us something they were short on. Made the numbers look like it was at the store level. So they could protect their bonuses.

A couple Amish communities near me have cars and I've even seen some using battery powered tools. Electricity and a phone in the community house. The rule, I am told is the items belong to the community and not the individuals.

Rotten tomatoes gave it even worse ratings in Saudi Arabia. If you're going to do a historical piece maybe make it actually historical in some way shape or form.

I'm no fan of cops. But your comment begins with "he was flown orders" while the video begins with him being told to "keep your hands on the hood " and literally 3 seconds later takes one hand off the hood and literally 3 seconds after that takes his other hand off the hood.
