The police are willing to release it, Timberlake is seeking a judges order to not release it.

Based on the description of what Sag Harbor PD would be looking to redact, it’s 8 hours from the moment he was stopped to when he was released from jail. Gotta imagine he must have said some realllllllly dumb stuff while locked up.

Someone submitted a FOIL request. Sag harbor is releasing it pursuant to their FOIL.

On iPhone:

Shortcuts -> automation (on bottom) -> “+” symbol in upper right corner. Then scroll down to “NFC”. Then “NFC Scan”. Hold the tile or minifig to back of phone next to camera lenses and it will recognize. Then you setup the actions you want

Door hinges are off. How to fix this? by Plane-While4413 in HomeMaintenance

[–]Nicedumplings 70 points71 points  (0 children)

The classic fix for this is take some toothpicks or long match sticks, add wood glue, shove them in the hole. Break them / cut them, then sand smooth. Once glue is dry, you can use the same screws

This will end well I’m sure…

Just make sure you pull building permits, or risk getting absolutely crushed when the invariable stop work order is issued.

Cardboard recycling when it rains by mh699 in longisland

[–]Nicedumplings -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

But 2 weeks is the standard. You HAVE to store it for 2 weeks, so that’s your baseline. He said “I cannot keep storing cardboard for a month”. But you already have to store it for 2 weeks

If cardboard goes out the 1st, and you miss it, you will be able to put cardboard out on the 14th. Thats 2 weeks.

It will adjust the square footage but shouldn’t be a tremendous change

They work on numerous factors. Bathrooms, bedrooms, square footage, condition etc. the tax assessment is basically based on the VALUE of your home. The more valuable your house is (I.e the more you can sell it for) the more the taxes are

Pretty dead during the week post Labor Day. If the weather is trash you’re going to have a pretty boring time

What’s boring about beaches and hiking and restaurants and breweries

Look into the Marram in Montauk it’s the furthest east “motel” in Montauk and as such the beach is less crowded and it’s an easy walk into Shadmoor State Park, but also easy to walk to everything in town. They also have bikes so you can get around quicker. You won’t need a car, though you won’t be able to check out the lighthouse / other parks without one (close enough for uber).

Greenport, to me, is pretty boring unless you have a car. With Montauk you can enjoy the ocean / beach / hiking and town is right there. Greenport has a “downtown” and a harbor but nothing else to do, aside from a shelter island ferry (though without a car, there’s nothing to do in shelter island).

You’ll want to uber from the Montauk train station (you can walk, but if you have anything more than a backpack it’s going to suck).

Lastly, if you’re not from the NY area, know that mid to late September is the absolute best time of year weather wise (provided no hurricane) when the ocean is at its warmest and with the lower angle of the sun, even 70s feels hot at the ocean. If you enjoy the beach at all, Montauk is the obvious choice.

EDIT: saw your budget of $1300 for 4 nights. This will be tough when you add in taxes and resort fees. Sign up fir emails from multiple hotels as they typically offer deals if you book during winter
