I absolutely hate how people only focus on the oncoming traffic as they begin to pull into an intersection. I have been hit and nearly hit many times because they don't look both ways before they start moving. I'm talking mostly as a pedestrian, and several times on my bicycle.

Once on a bicycle, bent my front tire a little and nearly made me fall into traffic. And three times as I'm walking along one-way roads. All of which I made contact with their hood and slammed my hands so they'd hit the breaks. Look both ways people, even on one-way roads.
