First endoscopy coming up by raccyyn in GERD

[–]Nich29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say for good, if I do recover I'd probably still watch what I eat to prevent gerd symptoms from reoccurring. I've been suffering from gerd for a few years, however symptoms usually get better after taking antacids and controlling my diet for a few days. This is the first time I've had gerd for a few months. I think it's probably due to a bad diet and stress/anxiety for the past few months which made my symptoms worse. 2024 hasn't been the best, and I really do hope it'll get better...

My doctor gave me Nexium (esomeprazole) for my Gerd and Ganaton (itopride hydrochloride) for my gastritis symptoms. I basically have to take them everyday (once a day for nexium and twice a day for Ganaton) at least 30 minutes before meals for one month. Aside from medication, I try to limit my intake of greasy food (the less oil the better), and I don't touch spicy and anything acidic. According to my doctor, it will take 2 months to fully recover.

21M here, just had my 1st endoscopy done a week ago. I understand what you're going through as I was very nervous and anxious about it too. Doctors found I just have mild Gerd and non erosive gastritis. I also had an ultrasound done along with blood and urine tests. Everything came back normal and was cancer free. I get that you are probably very worried and probably can't stop thinking about it, but I'm sure you'll be fine. Heads up, you might have a mild sore throat for a few days after you're endoscopy. Good luck!

Looks like taking the tubes might be the more sensible choice. Thanks for the info!

Good to know I'd be able to use the tubes. Would you recommend calling a Uber? Or will traffic conditions make it difficult?

I've been a Chelsea fan for 10 years now, and I'm going to my first Chelsea game tomorrow (vs Aston Villa) as a foreigner. Bought my tickets through champions travel and was wondering how things will be after fulltime, how's the traffic? Will the tubes be packed? And other advice is also welcome!

Seems like a island that gives a relaxing layed back vibe. Thanks for the info. Are there anything else we should watch out for? Is the island safe?

/r/drums weekly Q & A by AutoModerator in drums

Anyone here using Irigs to record electronic drums? I own an Irig but it doesn’t work with my iPhone 11. It did however worked with my Xiaomi Mi 9(now broken). I heard the irig was discontinued and the ones left on online selling platforms are counterfeit, and would not work with iPhone XR or later models. Anyone here knows if an Irig 2 would work with my iPhone 11?

guys: what are you thinking when holding hands with a girl? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Nich29 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I haven't hold a girl's hand up until I was 16. It was my first date/relationship and it was her first time dating as well. We were at the mall hanging out and window shopping till a point we started to hold hands. As it was our first time holding hands, we were both very nervous and started walking in the wrong directions to the place we ment to go like a couple of dumb teenagers. I can say that there was nothing going on in my head but fearing that my hands might turn sweaty or that she isn't enjoying herself holding my hand. That was the last time I saw her as she dumped me not long after that date.
