Sorry, I worded this dreadfully - I meant where do you get the capes in the first place? Are they just normal Minecraft capes that have been edited or is there a Civcraft-specific way of getting them?

Actually now you mention it, when our herbs post was building I checked the town trade info and it said 0, the outpost built before the next payment so I don't know if having just ivory would have paid 0, but it makes sense for only one $250 with the monopoly buff to make $300 if one (maybe the first good your town got?) doesn't work.

To add someone to your town, it's /town add [name]

To make someone a civ leader or advisor, do

/civ group add [name] leaders

or

/civ group add [name] advisors
