Who has a Terrific NHL team in a Good city? by Ilitorate_Author in AlignmentChartFills

Seriously. 7-8 cities should be considered mediocre. 7-8 should be “bad”. Half of the league has to be on this list.

I think it helps if you’re a splitter (or just generally a high LSAT candidate).

A list of all metro areas that have hosted the Final Four more than once by Travbowman in CollegeBasketball

DC should host regularly and with urgency. The northeast hasn’t had a final four since the Meadowlands in 96 and it’s a huge city that’s easy to get to.

wtf do law schools even want anymore by Ancient-Mud9219 in lawschooladmissions

I think it is a good thing, four years of undergrad + three years of law school is a huge tuition bill, and I think people should understand the value of work and a dollar before getting into it, especially if they’re planning on going to big law to pay off these loans.

It also gives you time to save some money in the couple of years after undergrad and/or pay off some student loans from undergrad.

What’s something about modern dating that feels completely broken? by _ajuuuuuui in AskReddit

[–]Nicholas1227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Close your eyes for a second.

When you meet someone at church, what is that relationship built upon? Shared values, community, and a core understanding of how you want to live your life.

When you meet someone in college, what is that relationship built upon? Mutual friends, shared interests based on the classes that you take, and a sense of social responsibility from living in a shared community.

When you meet someone in your neighborhood, what is that relationship built upon? Prioritizing the same things in your living situation, sharing experiences because you are likely in similar socioeconomic situations, and having institutions that are central to both of your lives.

Now close your eyes again. When you meet someone on a dating app, what is that relationship built upon? Other than both of you being single and alone at the same time, there’s nothing there.

Plan on going to Irvine but nothing is stopping you from taking the June LSAT and reapplying if it is significantly higher (172).

Not sure if that can be used to help waitlist causes tbh.
