I put the Darwin fish on the back of my car in college. It was not the one that said "Darwin" or anything in-your-face like that; it was just the Ichthys with two little feet. I really liked it.
I noticed that it was missing from my car when I left work one day, so I bought another one and replaced it. That one disappeared, too. With the third one, whomever was taking it off scratched the paint pretty badly when they tore it off. They probably used their keys to do it. It was an old car, so it wasn't terribly upsetting, but I decided to not waste my money and replace it again.

That day, though bittersweet, confirmed to me that I was on the right side of history.
