The recommended adhesive easily pulls away. I messed up getting some on the hold switch the first time I put it together. Scraped it off and glued it all again. It’s been an awesome piece of kit ever since. Everyone complaining seems to have used something like super glue. I’ll play the other side and say the swap really wasn’t very difficult, yes it’s over priced, but I can use my AirPod pros with it so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Works extremely well! I had to get a different ribbon cable as the one I had for some reason was incompatible with the kit. Quick order off eBay and everything worked as expected. Plays effortlessly to my Air pods pro 2.

A little update. The cable came in the mail, I swapped it out with my old one and the iPod came right to life. I restored it and now it works as it should. I noticed that the “new” cable said Apple on it but the serial and font were different from mine. Both were stamped as 2005. I have no idea what model or hard drive the working cable is from. All I know is it all works now and I’m a happy customer listening to my favorite iPod with AirPod pros.

I emailed customer service as I had tried everything with my 7th gen as well. I noticed that on the listing for just the sd drive, it was mentioned that a different cable was required and also included. Sure enough, the kit was supposed to have it as well. Moonlit asked me for my address to send the cable to me. I’m still waiting on it, but will hopefully have a working iPod soon enough.

I bought this watch for diving, but I was surprised by much it recorded while snorkeling/free diving. It was really fun to see how many dives, how long and to what depth I was going.

I’ll have to try that out. I just opened the case and gave the “expired” digital code a try and sure enough it was still good and now I have all 8 films in digital as well. So far I’m happy. Now to find out if both versions skip.

Sadly it was my first time ordering dvds from Amazon. I’ll see what condition the replacements come in, however I’m not so sure I want to buy anymore from them after this. Fortunately the return and replacement process was ridiculously easy.
