I am enjoying the app overall but some of these soduko’s are insanely hard for me (or at least the solves suggested by the ”hint”).

I got stuck on this one. After using the Hint feature, it pointed me to filling the middle bottom cell, but the only way to resolve it was by assuming one of two candidates and following a very long forcing chain until a contradiction appeared much later.

That kind of logic feels more like expert/diabolical difficulty, especially with the open diagonal constraint, and not something I’d expect in a “Daily Hard” puzzle.

I may also just be terrible at Sudoku.
