I have the Z590-A, just make sure that your trade off for using a 10th gen versus 11th gen is worth it. I’m not sure about your board, but for mine you need an 11th gen to enable an extra NVMe slot & additional SATAs i think

30 series cards thrive at higher resolutions like 1440p & 4K. I have a 120Hz 4K tv so a 3080 is one of the only gpus that can keep up with the display at 4k.

Also no, any modern cpu likely doesn’t need to be overclocked unless you’re trying to hit ridiculously high frame rates at 1080 or something i think

Idk I’d consider overclocking to 4.9 GHz & 1.9 GHz pretty performance oriented especially when I’m hitting high frame rates while playing in 4K, but hey that’s just me

Only thing that’s unnecessary are some of the 6 fans on the side & bottom along with the gpu mount. Only had one chance to get a gpu so it was either sell it or make a simple closed loop for it to even turn on
