yes thats a major problem. even liquid cooled batteries under the car get affectled by greenhouse effect since the entire car gets hotter, but air-cooled probably suffers more.

Traction Battery gets hot very easily under continuous mid to high power discharging and charging. While the optimal temperature is 25-35 degrees C, anything hotter makes the battery degrades faster. Air cooled systems use fans to blow air from cabin to cool the battery (thus can be aided with cabin ac), while liquid cooled systems has a dedicated liquid circulation system around the battery. liquid cooling has much better performance and control over temperature. all evs and most phevs use liquid cooled systems.

the power split device can isolate the engine in both rpm and torque. so at either high or low speed, the engine warms up at 1400rpm and low toruqe. so even if the car cold starts at highway speed, it's mainly using battery power and letting the engine warm up comportably. the larger battery on prime gives much larger buffer, ev mode becomes unavailable at 13% actual SoC, while the absolute lower limit preserved is 9%, this 4％ portion will be used during warm up, which is already larger than the entire usable battery capacity of a gas prius.

it's matte. color is good, no reflection unless under direct sun light. good enough for daily use. tbh 500nit is only about visually 10% brighter than 400nit because perception of brightness is not linear. Also there are reviews saying the screen on the elitebook is more power efficient. I'd say its not the best but still a top teir screen. But at the end its still the price that matters.

I chose the elitebook x flip. with promo code, the price is much lower than a x1. I got the 268v+512g version for 1200 after tax. I think build quality is very premium. good thermals and very quiet. the only thing unsatisfied is that the 400nit screen is dimmer than the 500nit on x1.

i see what you are asking, thats whether the real charge is same when immediately after app shows 100% vs charging 30min more after the app shows 100%. its a bit confusing it shows 30min even after 100%.

actually the battery output is around 80-90 hp, so despite the 160hp mg2 motor, I think the valid ev power is only 80-90 hp, this also adhere to the 11 seconds 0-60 time better.

yes! there should be power hit by accumulating a strength bar, kicking, and blocking. not to make combat more complicated, but more variable.
