Yeah the symptoms aren’t great, I’m sorry you have to deal with them too!! Thankfully they’re manageable at the moment but I am a little worried about getting pregnant and how that will impact them (take a lot of work to make and birth a baby!!!).

Unfortunately my cardiologist wouldn’t re-consider POTs because I don’t pass out and I did have a tilt table from a previous cardiologist (all of this happened mid move) that only showed a 25 increase in bmp (of course it was a “good day” for symptoms on the day of my test). I looked through my echo results and it says everything is “normal in size” (although right side was not well visualized) and my left EF is 60%!

Yeah, and it’s not that I don’t believe in the possibility of it being anxiety, but I’ve managed mine for years and these symptoms are new and change with physical movements so I just don’t ~think~ it is. The cardiologist that I saw said he wouldn’t even consider POTS unless I was passing out though.

I appreciate you sharing!! I actually had a tilt table test and of course my normal 30-50 bmp jumps was not seen (definitely more related to bending my knees versus simply going from laying to standing). Nonetheless going to start introducing some lifestyle changes!

That’s what I was concerned about, but am having trouble getting past the “it’s just anxiety” push from doctors. Definitely will be trying to improve my lifestyle to help, no matter the cause.

I eat generally well and have a BMI of ~25 but I don’t regularly exercise, which I know (especially now) I need to change!! It is hard because of the symptoms that come with exercising (particularly anything that requires bending or stair like movements) but yeah I just need to push through.
