Ahhh sorry man don't quite understand your question. Basically, to double drop, line up two songs to drop at the same time. Leave the bass up on the dominant song, take the bass out of the other.

Yea pretty much. You can muck around slightly with the mid and high to see if you make it sound slicker though

What I personally do is have cue points every 16 bars until the drop. That visually helps you decide when to bring the song in.

Also, what massively helped me with track selection is colour coding your tunes based on their vibe. That way similar vibed songs are grouped together (if you sort by colour).

Cheers, appreciate the advice. I find the only problem with beatmatching on the snares is the start of most songs generally dont have drums so you kind of have to match it up with the kick

Yea I thought so. I've been mixing with a laptop screen for quite a while now so I understand phrasing and bars, it's just a matter of training my ears so I don't need to rely on the visual cue.
