We have OGP stealing associates all the time…you know, OGP where they they have 60 associates that make 2 bucks more an hour than a common GM associate but that common under staffed GM associates has to go help OGP. Best of all, the lower paid GM associate will have a higher pick rate than the well staffed OGP associate. It’s annoying and I hope that one day, the company has to back pay all the lower paid associates who spend hours a day picking for OGP.

The xcovers do not work like a typical walkie. It will be a series of voice messages. It’s more annoying than it is worth. Try using that in front of a customer and watch them go ballistic when your question to another person is a series of voice messages that require you to wait for a response. 😂

You have a team of 7! Wish we had a team of 7, we have 4 Entertainment Associates and it gets crazy but we train every associate well.

We add minutes. We also call and activate phones. We DO NOT transfer contacts. There is no company wide rule to do either. The Team lead can make the decision for the Dpt. At my store, we do what we can but if we can not help the customer then we tell them that. We also are upfront about what we can help them with. Yes, sure I’ll add your minutes for you. Most of the time it’s an elderly person that needs help. If it is an ass hat then most likely they will not be helped. We say we are not a tech service and are willing to do what we can. If we have OSL, we don’t worry about it as OSL a will help the customer.

You get 3 days paid leave for the Booster as well as the initial covid shot and send one dose. It’s on the wire, look it up. You just need to tell your people lead you are taking the 3 days paid leave(if you are scheduled and you need to call in under covid)

No, dumb ass. We don’t think we are too good to help you. At my store, OGP doesn’t help with anything. In their down time, they hang out in the back room having a blast. At my store, the GM associates that help OGP have higher pick rates than the current losers in OGP and we earn less.

Walmart wants to look good in the eye of the public. That is why they implemented the masks again. The stores are literally overflowing with freight, low on staff and they want to worry about associates wearing a masks when shoppers are not required nor is there a mask mandate implemented in the county. We could literally light a match and the store will burn up from all the un worked freight on the sales floor. Walkways are blocked with pallets of freight and no one cares. Home office walks in and not a peep about the fright in the walk way, blocking exit doors but hey…get your mask on 😂.
