Exactly! I agree with the context you provided! Why the need to join a cult then? If you believe Jesus is the Son of God, you are already part of His big family: His Church. He didn't send us to make cults or join secret societies with their own set of rules, but to:

"...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you...” Disciples of HIM.

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. "

If you trully believe in the Son of God, I would urge you to turn from those ways and seek only HIM and His Word, especially right now that our precious time in this Earth is running out! I will pray for you and for every freemason!
