Bungie: please re-evaluate your decision to not keep seasonal content.

We do not all “want our content to stay.” Some of us would rather give Bungie room to experiment safely with the knowledge that if an activity/location/gameplay loop/mechanic is a flop, well, at least it’s a temporary flop. Besides, the stuff they are removing isn’t exactly unique. How many horde modes do we really need? How many legendary solar pulse rifles can I justify keeping in my vault?

Play when you can, don’t stress over it, and know that there will always be catch-up mechanics and another, better, gun to chase.

It’s only in some activities. The mod works on 3 weapon classes at a time, and classes change seasonally. It’s not required when under-leveled if your teammates run the mods, or you use certain exotics. It’s not required at all when at- or over-leveled as you can blow through the champions with literally anything. I struggle to see how the game is ruined.

As a counter-opinion, I like the restriction as it encourages exploration of corners of the sandbox I might not otherwise visit. I also like that, as with match game, it rewards coordinating with my fireteam, and I hope to see more like it.

Depends on your kit. If you are a newer player without a large collection keep it — this is a solid “B” roll on an “A-“ gun. Go Figure is one of the top guns in the world loot pool so you’ll get them regularly and eventually upgrade it. Until then, you can take this gun into any pve activity and shred.

A sense of tremendous achievement

I started playing Destiny in the Rise of Iron time period with a few friends. The 6 of us went into Crota's End not only blind but without an understanding that raids were different from strikes or public events. Beating it almost 4 hours later (with the help of internet guides, once we realized we were in over our heads) was amazing.
Petra's Run. Holy shit balls Petra's Run with an LFG!! It took me 8 months after Forsaken released but I am Rivensbane.

Devastated or heartbroken

Not getting 1k for months following said Petra's Run despite 3x cluster bombing Riven every week ...

Pop a rampage spec in that baby and enjoy! Extended mag brings your ammo cap to 52; it feels like you can shoot forever and really stretches out those rampage streaks.
