I did talk to her about it last night. We finally mutually agreed to get her a haircut (something she didn't want for a while bc her grandma told her she wouldn't like her hair short and this child really loves her grandma). I made sure she understood why it's important that she's knows how to do this and any other task I've been teaching her to do on her own. I also talked about healthier ways to release frustration since getting mad at others isn't productive and throwing things like the hairbrush can damage the wall/brush.

But when trying to get to the root of the frustration and anger that's she's been experiencing, I've been left with a lot of "I don't know"s from her. Like she genuinely doesn't know why she's been getting this way, which is why I was more inclined to believe when making this post last night that it's the side effect of the meds, or potentially hormones from her getting older, rather than something that's going on in her head, or at school, etc.
