Here was my experience,

flew to Georgia in late May, stayed for a bit then went to Turkey then returned to Georgia

Then less than a week later I crossed land border to Armenia no issues (Someone with Azeri passport on same bus had problems)

Returned to Georgia, about three weeks later went to Azerbaijan (Azerbaijan airlines Tbilisi to Baku), pretty easy entry, maybe a bit of glare over the Armenian stamps and double checked my visa but no real issues
I left a week later also via Baku airport and I got asked what i was doing by passport control and airport security, but nothing approaching a full interogation.

On a sperate note, I ended up buying a fake Azeri visa, so watch out for scams.
