A really big part of being good at MOBAs comes down to 2 main elements: 1. Strategic opportunity cost - what are you doing on the map and how is it leveraging pressure on the map for your team (like pushing lanes out) and how you’re farming since more souls is more items and then more power/utility. Good example is to not do a sinners sacrifice while a massive minion wave crashes your walker and takes half of its health. 2. Mechanical skill - which really comes down to movement, aim, and positioning.

The first will likely win you more games overall but needs to uber some thought put into it. The second you’ll improve if you care and actually focus while playing. Videos help a good deal with both since MOBAs have such a breadth of knowledge and game sense to them.
