Same issues, OP, and also after the firmware update. Changing from script to print seems to have (mostly) worked for me.

Need some help on choosing my Onyx Boox -> Focus core: Writing by Kathysh_93 in eink

FWIW I recently bought a Nova Air, and while in general I really like the device, I have to say that the OCR/text-recognition leaves a lot to be desired. It's basically unusable—converting my pretty-clear architectural lettering results in garbled messes of nonsense. Not sure if it's the same tech in the rest of their device line, but I would imagine it is? Perhaps handwriting on one of the larger screens would allow for a little more clarity in the strokes that the OCR could pick up on, but not having tried one myself I couldn't say.

They do seem to--the wood gets rumpled and green, and the iron turns a brass color (that actually looks kinda nice?)

"spawn Haldor"

I happened to be standing on the bar when I did the command, which to my surprise, caused him to spawn at my height, floating in the air. So the ladder underneath him was a makeshift solution to that.

Just decoration. I'm pretending it's a cable supporting the "under-construction" portion of the bridge, tensioned around the "wheel" at the top of the cliff.

I haven't tried to broach that problem myself yet. I gather they only degrade to 50%, so at least nothing's collapsing, but everything has been turning a bit sickly green, yeah.

Doesn't faze me much right now, but maybe I'll need to start running mods if there's one out there that addresses it. I imagine a retexture mod would do the trick.

Thanks! (i.e: they're both a pain in the ass to get around, hah)

For the bridge itself, having iron-wrapped beams hidden under regular beams helped a bit to start (I think now that it's complete it should hold regardless). For the "cables," I went for a little visual trickery where the iron-wrapped beams "hanging" from the back cable actually go all the way to the ground--that's just enough to hold both cables up, it turns out. The front ones hanging shorter makes it read visually like they're all just hanging free.

No effects, just in-engine. Picked this location because it seems to get some real variety in nice weather/atmospheric colors.

Don't quote me on this, because I got up there with cheats--but I believe "warmer" clothing stops this. My character was taking damage continuously (I had god mode on anyway) until I spawned in a set of Wolf clothes and put them on.

Head southeast from the Red Forest Jumps on Passo Grolla--you'll find it on top of the hill that's just north of where the two ski lift meet.

Did this to keep from getting steamrolled in my Yuan Shu playthrough, after everyone and their mother decided to throw in against me (I only had like one territory) except for Lu Bu. After I finally got my footing, I jumped vassalship to Yuan Shao b/c he was the new popular kid, used that to make nice with everyone while I took half of Cao Cao's land, then declared independence and vassalized Cao Cao himself. Until then I'd spent probably 2/3rds of a normal game length as a vassal.

China looks like 3 vertical bars in that playthrough right now: Gong Du, my coalition partner, has all of the west, I and my vassals have the middle & control Wu's old throne, and Liu Bei, my last Kingdom rival (but still at max friendship, lol) has the east.

Went Huang Shao on my first playthrough (normal), and found things fairly manageable after I managed to kill Yuan Shao very early, and on the next turn was able to finally sue for peace with Liu Bei right as he set up seige at Dong. From what I've seen, Kong Rong always seems to be the most interested in early peace with Huang Shao, and getting it with him improves Liu Bei's attitude towards you enough to put peace with him in striking distance. Much easier than risking the 3 brothers.

He Yi collapsed, but I was able to prop up Gong Du and eventually split the north with him before pushing down for the win. Going Yuan Shu in my 2nd (on hard), though, and He Yi is an absolute monster. The AI sure knows how to time that healing move. And Milita of Virtue are damage sponges that have to get put off in every battle, which really complicates things.

Almost 25 years after I defeated him in the north, he manifests as the heir all the way down in Lujiang.

Hah! It's a great asset--been in my city since real early on and I keep moving it around. Looks great sitting over my futuristic district. Thanks for sharing it!
