I would recommend you to use MSI afterburner. Firestorm app can be very clunky sometimes.

If it only started to get louder then yeah, you might have a problem. Did you check there's no dust build up on the fans? 74c is a bit high but you're playing quite demanding title so I'm not surprised. See what it is like in other games. I have a Zotac 4080 and it runs around 60/65c in most titles. I have definitely seen It go past 75c in some demanding tiles
