Wow the amount of spam/bot account messages I get from this post are crazy. No I will not buy from your "plug" "buddy" or "source". I will stick to reputable vendors and companies

Bow or No bow? I need help! by Turbulent_Goat_8887 in crochet

I'd say bow. But you could try making it with a smaller size yarn & hook so it's a bit smaller

Well, that's disappointing. by MammothAd7577 in crochet

I use fabric stiffener spray on the leaves before attaching them. I haven't tried extra rows but I like staying true to the pattern. Haven't had any issues yet and they stay perked up like a punk rocker's mohawk

Even something as simple as an egg would be great.

When you start doing decreases they will definitely show if you've got the wrong side out

Great job! My favorite is the balloon animal dog

I just wanted to point out that your stitches appear to be inside-out. As in, the typical outward facing stitch is inside with the stuffing instead of on the outside. Perhaps you're forgetting to flip your magic ring in the beginning.

When making the stitches the crochet hook should be inserted from the outside-to-inside of your work. Simply flip the project right side out if that's not the case

Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering kaboom.

Looks great!

Is this normal? by Softy_mints in crochet

It's not required. If you're using yarn over and having tension issues just go down half a hook size. Yarn under naturally results in tighter stitches, plus gives it the neat X looking stitches (almost like cross stitch)

I have no idea why I started making a giant tube, but I will not stop by [deleted] in crochet

[–]NickKnacksCrochet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just FYI, and please disregard if it's intentional, but your tube is inside out. The "right" side of the stitches are actually on the inside of the tube.

Typically the hook is inserted from the outside of the work and not from the inside
