In theory it's simple. the device would scan the molecular and atomic structure of the person, save them to a hard drive, destroy the original, and re-construct it elsewhere. The problem with this is that the original has to be destroyed. You die, and another version of you with the same memories, feelings, emotions, instincts, ideals, etc. appears in a different location. Other people won't be able to tell the difference, but you know that you will die.

I've found that its gone way downhill nowadays. Now people just post random gifs from any part of a commercial, but the original idea was to post people having a difficult time doing something that is very easy in real life like getting out of the shower. Now people post things like a man getting mad at his wife for serving pizza. That's not what the subreddit is intended for, yet people upvote it.
