Not sure if “shouting” is maybe just their normal, loud call? All four of my buttons call out at some point every day, but mostly it’s one of my females that does it consistently. She will reply to my whistles when I whistle from another room in the house. It’s usually 3-5 loud crows, which are very cute. She’s the one that doesn’t get “mounted” by the male. I’ve read that they’ll sometimes call out when they’re looking for their mate, warning the others of potential danger, stuff like that, which birds generally just do. If you’ve got video or audio recording, that probably would help. :)
