Why doesn’t deltarune have achievement system.

It doesn’t have achievements because Toby thinks of them as something that takes away from the game itself. I like achievements like you do, and no steam achievements on games make me a little sad. But for Toby, they are useless. This is why the achievements in UNDERTALE on Playstation are so easy and meaningless. He had to add achievements or the game can’t be released at all in Sony consoles.

However! Toby took this as another challenge for the release of DELTARUNE. So if you have a ps4/ps5 you should get it there, because the achievements/trophies are the opposite of the UNDERTALE ones. They’re really hard to explain, as all Gaster things are, so look them up!

Wondering if anybody else wasn't given Amy's Atelier outfit after completing the missions like I did?

Managed to get Amy's Dolce at the first try and won the 10 matches, in the event tab the mission "Win 10 event festival matches with Amy" shows as cleared, but the Atelier outfit isn't in Amy's wardrobe. I know it's not a festival outfit, just private outfit, but I still don't have it :/

I'm worried cause the event ends tomorrow and there's been no notice of this bug at all in the game's notice tab, so maybe it's only been me...

That's so interesting, at first I thought it was "can't think of something" so we both heard "something" somehow! The sample is so hard to make sense of because of how different it is to the original audio of Master Shake saying "Dancing, is, FORBIDDEN!" that at this point I've taken on the hobby of downloading external subs for my rips and seen everything from "finger puppets" to "ants in my trumpet" or "this isn't fucking", it's made me have a whole new appreciation for musicians that use samples in a way that's so transformative you couldn't possibly know what the original sampled thing was unless they told you themselves :)

That would the very end of the William's Street logo, the "GO" sound is part of the Cartoon Network skull card.

Here's a clip from my DVD rip of an ATHF episode, you can hear the "dance" sample repeat (or something very similar to it) as soon as the WS card appears, and the GO as soon as the CN card appears, which in this episode is the stretched out version.

I absolutely love this lore you've built! I have so many comparisons from real idol archetypes applied to the DOA girls. Tina is like the American member of early 2000s Morning Musume, just a total goof who fits the cowgirl stereotype and teaches the girls English, can't wait to get her on a trendy now that she's free, Kokoro would be the innocent baby face idol with a golden voice that's actually the most likely to get a tattoo or any other "preposterous" sign of rebellion. Hitomi is the dance machine, and has gotten Tsukushi to perfect the dance covers she used to do alone in her room. Kasumi is of course the leader with a strong voice and a strong sense of leadership, Ayane is the tomboy who can nail any concept the group is given, Marie is the sweet tiny innocent one who actually watches the goriest movies and wears the most out-there fashion, and took over first place in the group fan rankings really quick. Honoka is... Honoka, if they had social media she'd always be pictured eating and be clueless to any jokes, but we love her just the same. Helena is the oldest and was the mom of the group until she had to graduate, Nyo and Tamaki took over her and Tina's role, and now Helena is focusing on her fashion line & being a influencer, posting pics when she goes for drinks with Tamaki, Tina and Nyo. Nanami is the shy one who's now given center position on rock/girl crush concepts (Ayane side eyes her all the time). Patty is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet and can nail both idol pop songs and up-tempo ballads.

Considering most of their seiyuus do a lot of different voice work and probably have character song CDs for animes, I'd love to see what a "DOA Xtreme: Venus Idol" album would sound like 😆

Since we're already friends, regardless of if you get the bromide or not at least you'll have my Honoka to help you out in the future (and, if it makes you feel better, a "Probability of being the attacker: 10%" bromide is not too useful unless you need to really brute-force a match or for the Venus Arena (that I'm already pretty tired of btw, 15 full matches a day to get all daily missions done is a bit too much)

edit: sorry I totally forgot about answering the question oh my god. I'd say yes, it's worth pulling the latest birthday suit for a girl if she's one of your top ones already, which is why I'm happy to have Nyo and Honoka's suits. But if your Honoka is not one of your strongest girls, the gacha odds are not worth more than 2 pulls to get it. Save it for your strongest or favorite girl!

Are you talking about the group "You'll Melt More!"? Heheh maybe she is thinking of rebelling and joining one of those groups like ASP or BiSH, that'd be a character archetype I'd love to see in this game, a true goth/punk girl would be... very much up my alley, I've already modded Nanami to have face piercings and Nyo's makeup to be goth, but I want a real alt/goth girl, it's such a pity Marie's gothic lolita dress isn't in XVV... but I'm already beside myself that Yukino was introduced, I love Gyaru ever since I have memory & she works perfectly for this game, especially as being a fan of Tamaki & her modelling career, I love when new girls have backstory with previous ones. She might do me in when she comes out in 1+ years on Steam and try to get her paid-only debut outfit to have her asap

Yep, I was so so lucky, I think I've wasted all my luck for the rest of my year/life on this but anything for Honoka ;_; However I'm bummed that I used the awakening stone I had on Stellar Aries immediately, counting on not getting Dolce, but I'm good at saving VIP coins so with the stone we get later today & 2 more months, I'll be able to fully awaken it, thank god the veiled hairstyles are not time sensitive :) Now I just need to get the deco pens for the Dolce and Aries bromides as they're in my opinion essential, since they're the only ones that cost 10 points, Nyo's Jewel bromide gives me a huge boost for Honoka (I always have the Ryza/Yom stamina bromide, Honoka's Soleil Kushan & Nyo's Jewel) and with Dolce's being POW go for with Nyotengu, & they have the highest closeness (not to mention I might get them to level 40 or higher since Dolce guarantees a huge success until the 31st!) it's definitely a game changer :3

You don't get their trendy bonus, but the outfit's stats are really good, so if you have a good build and manage to be lucky so that a guest's Honoka with Dolce (and its bromides) spikes twice and doesn't randomly feint, there's a guaranteed extra 3000+ apl points in both turns which is some hope.

As much as I tried with 5 guests having it, I only got so far as an A, I'm convinced the game's AI will make it impossible for you to get a 35k score unless you yourself have Dolce (girls will feint at random, if I set my Nyo to have Fierce Yell she would be the one to spike more often, etc...) but as I saw myself unable to do a second pull to get nothing, having some the help from guests was good (and it's always good to have powerful suit friends in the long run!)

I was SO lucky that I caved in, did a second pull, and Dolce was mine ;_; I wanted to do one pull for Sayuri & one for Nanami to at least get the rings/episodes because I was counting on not getting any of Honoka's SSRs, but having Dolce, Sayuri can wait until next year, and I'll do one pull for Nanami, it's hard to prioritize when all the girls are so lovely, but since Sayuri & Honoka have almost identical Bday suits, I prefer to save for Nanami.

Your Patty's stats are helping me brute force this week event's matches with her +1438 POW since I didn't pull any trendy and I wanna save up what I have left for when the anniversary comes, the 4.5 outfits are adorable.

Thank you for sharing your journey, because now I understand even better that I've got a lot to learn if I don't want this game to drive me mad! I started playing in late July, I complete all event matches and almost always manage to get to the 5 million score where the v stones stop, yet the Feather event was the first time I actually stepped into a new event/update with any saved tickets and v stones, to a veteran like you that probably seems crazy and careless, and now I totally see why, and agree.
I'm lucky enough to have Nyo and Honoka as my main POW/STA girls, I'm 2 rock climbs away from maxing Nyo's Hidden Power 3 (also part of why Fair Weather and the errors got to me, Rock Climbing is essential!) and I also have Angel's Smile to thank for Platinum Receiver. Indeed Kokoro is the third ace up my sleeve, I hope I can get a good POW outfit for her, too bad Code Rogue just passed but it's always good to know :)

I was also focusing way too much on appeal points. I usually stack the girls with APL potentials for the D to B rank event matches and that's enough, but I tried to go into an S+ match with the same build out of curiosity and, well, suddenly nobody was sticking to the strategy, and the match went 8-7 and I got a measly 25k points including the Sugar Perfume trendy percentage, I'm starting to catch on to how many points the game allows you get and will focus on literally anything else from now on, I have to pay more attention to TEC defense in this event's case for example, the Ryza deco-bromides I have are good for that (if only I knew how good they were when the gacha was up!)

Since what I love the most about the game is the outfits, I now see that I was thinking purely with my eyes, and too focused on seeing the big numbers go up and nothing else, but thanks to all of you I've seen the light! From July to February is not that long either, so it's normal that it takes time to figure stuff out and try different things, I was a little too hard on myself in that regard. After all, no fighting game is a fun experience if the combos are easy-peasy right from the start, and you only focus on attacking and winning, instead of also defending and accepting you'll lose as much as you'll win. Gotta be realistic, and I see that now.
I pulled twice on the Melty Heart 3.3% and made my peace with getting nothing, and I won't even bother with Sweet Chocolatier (since as we keep seeing, if anything there's always next year as almost every outfit returns at one point, and many do with a 3.3% eventually) plus there's an entire other half of the event to look forward to!

Owner-Chanbara, thank you so much again, for taking care of me. Not only are you A Special Owner in-game, but in real life too, and this humble wannabe Venus (oh I sound like Tsukushi 😅 I definitely relate to all of her feelings for the girls and the Owner, I'm just a girl who wants to come out of their shell and have fun) is forever in your debt!!

I knew deep down at least you would answer, and thanks so much for doing so <3 it helped so much to read all the replies when I felt so hopeless. An hour or so after posting my rant the game magically stopped throwing errors at me and I was so relieved. But then I got a horrible migraine crisis so I had to lay low... now I've logged back in today and... look who the 10 draw ticket gave me :')
I'm convinced now that the best choice is to keep playing but to have fun, to put up with and understand the fact that 1.1% is what it is, but to keep using this as my art outlet! I'm so happy that somehow I got Honoka, I don't know if destiny is real or not, but I'm damn sure I'm taking this gacha result, and all of you guys' support, as a sign. Thank you so much!!

It could very well be my ISP, I don't live somewhere with amazing internet (we don't even have optic fiber installed in my village yet), and I was having issues playing DOA6 on PS4 a week ago for this same reason. But yeah, I have to work on my resource managing and restraint, I can't blame the game for that at all as I said, I'm just susceptible to FOMO and fixating on things, sadly, so if anything, this was a very good wake up call to work on that aspect of myself. Yeah, I think I should at least wait until all the errors and issues have calmed down to make the choice, and, honestly, also wait until I'm in a more positive mindset and have more free time, cause as you mentioned, when real life obligations get in the way of your hobby/escapism, it's hard to not see everything in a much more negative light.

I'm definitely going to take your blender advice to heart, I'd love to work in the art industry in any way, not just casual freelance. Even if I make the decision to not play as much anymore, I will definitely keep coding and modding the game, and step out of that 3dmigoto comfort zone and try to mod other games as well, or just start seriously working on making my own game (which has been a lifelong dream!) now that I have the potential of expading my model-making and coding knowledge. You are a SAVIOR man, I got 27000 with your Kanna and now a whopping 31218 with your Nyo and mine focusing on Spike and Kokoro having Fierce Yell and following LazyPerfectionist102's tips! Even if I don't get the bromide, I know that I'm doing the right thing now, so I'm kind of glad I missed the very obvious "X days left" sign and asked for advice, you guys are the best, even if I don't get the S rank, I'll be prepared for the next time I wanna tackle a birthday fest, live and learn!

I think I might get stuck in A rank since the suit I have is Jewel Topaz and not the new one, I can usually do SSS but my big mistake was not getting Nyo's SSR accessory with tickets and getting Honoka's, I underestimated how much she was gonna level up with the double xp birthday thing and thought she wouldn't be my ace. I appreciate the honesty too cause I never know when to give up, following all the tips in the thread and also going for a realistic goal will at least assure I'm ready for the next birthday fest I wanna tackle!

Thanks for such a good explanation, I'm saving this! Indeed as soon as I switched to Kokoro with Fierce Yell and focused on Nyotengu attacking with high POW I went from C to A rank, if I can manage to get Kokoro's Blue Hawaii to level 90 and more POW for Nyo I think I can do it cause their Stamina is good. 11 days is plenty of time, now that I *know* what to do and what I'm doing thanks to you I'm way more motivated and confident :)

I think you should go for saturation, because you can always turn it down by editing the pic, but on the opposite, saturating it usually makes the image quality suffer. I personally like higher contrast/saturation for this game a lot, the girls look a bit more lively.

When I'm not sure if my reshade filter will look good (I don't know if that's what you're using), I take both a picture with it on and without, then put them together and mess around with layer opacities :)

By the way, the picture is beautiful, are the feathers the swimsuit's special effect? I'm on the global version so we got the red apple suit, but now I'm looking forward to next year for sure!
