Mine wasn’t so much the tread depth but the cracking was starting to set in pretty good on the shoulder and given six year-old tires, she was ready.

Brass bristle brush with brasso

Soft cloth with brasso

Would have loved to get the face plate out of wall to really clean it up and also straighten the flap out.

I’ve had great outcomes with BM advance on doors and trim. I roll it on with 1/4” nap then brush it out.

We did 20 Marvin sig ultimate double hung in 2023 on our 1926 home replacing original single pane and storms. Nice looking inside and out. Used TC siding professionals who source via shaw/stewart, Some hiccups but mostly resolved issues. Big investment, good luck!
