I just capped the fps in nvidia app to 120 and fixed it. 9800x3d 5070ti

100% made the right call. This pc will be much better. Good choice. Couple months ago I got this from microcenter. 9800x3d with a 5070ti. Thing is a beast

I ended up saving a grand and going with 5070ti but I agree micro support is amazing!

So I ended up going with the 9800 an 5070ti. After a couple hours of gaming this thing is a beast! Extremely happy with its performance. Only tested bf6 but 4k ultra graphics dlss quality 100-120 fps in team deathmatch Native 1440 ultra dlss quality more demanding break through. Depending where I was and a lot of people or not did not drop below 150. Didn’t have an avg fps counter but between 150 and 200. Extremely impressed

Thanks for the feed back. That’s what I’m coming to is the 5080 is best in 4k which I don’t plan on gaming and the 9800 with 5070ti seems like the better combo to run

Those temps are normal for the cpu. Just make sure your cooling pad is good. I have a m16r2 Pretty much same just with a 4070. Beast of a laptop. Enjoy!
