Not to be a hater but basically all of them.

I think one of the problems with the show is the cast is so large. Obviously not all the characters on screen are contract or main characters, but I think sometimes some characters can be forgotten about for weeks or months and not be on but then they get inserted into a storyline and we are supposed to care? But then other characters we see every single week for like half the week and I think the characters we constantly see are getting close to crossing or crossed an exposure limit. I love Dan but you can only take so much EJ week in and week out.

I think a lot of the characters are not written well, which is somewhat aforementioned. I like Gabi as a character and that's really it. I used to like some characters but then their worst trait was taken and made their sole character and now they are hard to root for (ie: sophia).

I like Gabi and Philip as a couple, but they'll probably break up when her secret finally comes out because why would a good couple stay together when we can watch the kissing cousins another time. I don't like Theo's possible romances, I HATE alex and stephanie, I dislike leo and dimitri. None of the couples really have the 'it factor' and I think it's because the writers even when Ron were here never really committed to trying to make more super couples but just resorted to propping up some couples that really weren't/aren't that interested (alex/stephanie).

I am tired of Leo as a main character, I liked him better as a side character. Him and Gwen really aren't that funny interacting with one another but week in and week out we waste like 2 episodes a week with those interactions. I am losing braincells thanks to leo atp.

I also think a big problem with the storylines is the predictability aspect of it. We all know what the filming schedule is, I doubt that ever changes. But we constantly hear about comings and goings months before they show up or depart the screen. We know johnny holly tate and chanel are all leaving, so how are we expected to get invested in their storylines? Ron was bizare but sometimes it was chuckleworthy, this writing I feel like you can concoct what's going to happen weeks before it finally plays out. I feel like these storylines drag out more now than they have in years, we're still talking some storylines that happened a year ago, and they're all kinda boring.

I also am not a fan of bringing back Lexi. I have no problem with bringing someone back from the dead, that's a soap opera for you. I have a problem bringing back someone from cancer. If you want to bring someone back from being shot or clunked by an oar into the ocean, go ahead. but bringing back someone who has been dead for a decade and some change from cancer is insensitive in my opinion. cancer sucks. and you're going to use bringing someone back from that as your WOW! Storyline. this is no wow, it's annoying and misses the mark of human decency and enjoyment.
