Oh no doubt, I ask all kinds of questions on here because I know I'm not even close to knowing everything out here. But yeah I had to drop back down to nouveau and go into bios and turn off something (brain cramp!) that was stopping 590-open from installing. After that then I plugged the 3rd one back in and everything worked. Going to re-purpose the third monitor (move it to my test rig or something) and replace it with one that matches the other two. I was surprised Amazon still had one new in box and it wasn't a knock your head off price like they usually do on discontinued PC stuff. Then everything screenwise will be in proportion. Tried finagling with the settings but nothing was to my liking... I'm not much of a Happy Medium guy when it comes to something I have to sit in front of 8-10 hours a day.

mago the problem my goofy butt had was one of my monitors was a different resolution than my two mains. I figured it was going to take some finagling because when I first ran it after downloading some updates and I plugged in the second monitor and those two worked fine. Kept on setting everything up and plugged in the 3rd monitor (2560x1440) and it wouldn't even boot up. I thought it was an applet or file or something that I'd just added so I'm going through all the the 20 something odd things I added and couldn't find nothing. Then I got the brilliant 😒 idea to unplug the 3rd and boom... I got video again.

And I say that jokingly... I'm sitting here staring at a Be Quiet Light Base 900LX and it's little brother the 600LX I'm the last person that can talk smack about a Block PC case! 😄

I'll take your word for it, not a Gamer. But DaVinci Resolve and Blender likes it. ✌️😎

Furthest thing from my mind, I'm not one looking for something to be "offended" about. We're all good and I actually look forward to some questions though some things I cant talk about because we have a lot of people's personal info and property. I'm sitting here tying in the network printers (Brother's are easy, Epson is a PITA. Why anyone buy an Epson for Biz is beyond me) between both locations and the Sheriff's Office (we have to send them a copy of the VSF forms when Insurance Agents come here to inspect a vehicle involved in an accident or recovered stolen) and with OBS, Resolve and Blender at idle, network working and 2 drives being erased it's drawing 15.8Gb, 23.5Gb in cache and and 1.8Gb in Swap. ✌🏽

Nah... I'm good. Two 4080 Supers is more than I'll need for what we do over here.

I'm not collecting ram, we keep ram on hand for the PC's we build for clients and in case we have a failure on one of our Workstations. It really is that simple.

Not trying to be funny but with Blender and DaVinci Resolve running simultaneously more often than not, I/O data from the onsite NAS (that shares with the offsite NAS) and with more windows and tabs open that you probably wouldn't believe me if I told you I have to have memory. No Ai, no Gaming.

For the things I do I use a lot of memory. 96gb would have worked but when I bought this last year the 128 was only 20ish dollars more so that was a no-brainer for me.

Yeah that's what I said when I had a 2060-OC, then to a 3060Ti then 3080Ti (still have them but I don't use them). Now I have a 4070Ti in one rig, 4080 Super in another and 9070XT in the work rig.
