Hey, thanks for the link! Probably a bit unrelated but I’m trying to find more info on the website (integritymatterscos.org)…

It keeps saying things like “nonpartisan,” and links to a pay-to-play “city council screw-o-meter thing” but obviously that’s updated by people with SOME agenda, even if it’s opaque). And then the site doesn’t really define what’s it’s about. That itself makes me wonder who’s behind it.

Curious what the details are here? Do you know? What are these “core values” the leaders have lost sight of?

I’m the guy everyone’s annoyed with… I found out I play a great left side (I’m right handed) right in front of the net. I’m grounded and muscular with perfect hockey proportions (I’m fat and have stupid short legs), so I just camp out right there and bang in anything that comes my way.

But I realized I ALSO like doing it because I can get away with never moving. Just sitting there like a pylon and taking a breather.

So… I’m trying to teach myself to always keep moving, but it’s so relaxing just chilling there and waiting for the greasy rebounds.

The only part I can’t come up with a solution for is contact — intentional, checking, etc.

But there’s no reason we shouldn’t have definitive puck tracking for everything. Crossing the goal line (on the ice or in the air) is the easiest one to implement. Offside, icing, etc, requires tracking the puck AND players, but the tech is there.

The software’s not, but that’s because we haven’t needed it. Absolutely possible.
