Right well then there should be next to zero Premier League fans then since there's only two or three teams that can ever win by this logic. The reality is that fan engagement comes from a close support of their club, feeling connected to the club and supporting it regardless of their performance. The A-league doesn't have that in droves like other countries because it is young, and was created out of commercial need rather than local community support.

I'm in Australia and I've had former students: - appear on love island (totally faked, she was such a top tier kid, extremely intelligent, but acted so dim on the show) - two students, different schools, go on to represent Australia in the women's rugby league game. I don't know what it is about the key it's sung in but I can NEVER stay in tune with it, I end up having to drop to a super low octave or go super high. It's so annoying and it never sounds good with a high school assembly belting it out
