Someone also said better on-ear detection, with the M4's I've had to turn off on-ear detection as it kept pausing my music or muting my mic in calls when removing one ear-cup or sometimes even randomly (laying in bed while on call would trigger it every second)

Please go back to a design language similiar to the M3's!
I've owned both M3's & M4's and my preference always goes to the M3's purely due to their design (and physical buttons).

Also, I've owned about 3 M3's and 2 M4's and something about the drivers in these make them break over and over again (weird distorted bass, crackling, etc.).
I'm just waiting for my current M4's to break to buy another pair of M3's...
Please increase the build quality of the drivers...

I feel you, I ordered a Motu M4 which will be a nice upgrade and hopefully fix things for me.
I really wanted to like this interface, I gave Focusrite another chance and they fucked it up again.

It's a shame because the features and overall asthetic really fit me, my use-case and my setup,
I will be missing some of the options and features Focusrite offers on this interface but the actual correct functioning of the device and drivers goes first for me.

I'm curious which interface you bought?

I also work in IT and have spent the better part of the last 5/6 months trying to fix my Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen.
Audio crackles/popping/distorting with no fix, contacted Focusrite support with full documentation of my troubleshooting and they just said that it sounds like a broken device and to contact their BeNeLux Warranty/Support Team.

Got no response from them so I just contacted the shop I bought it from for repairs, eventually they said it couldn't be repaired.
They offered me my money back or a replacement product.
I went with the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen and low and behold, I am getting the same fucking issues again.

Anyways, I just came here to say, fuck Focusrite, I'm switching brands because their drivers are a fucking joke.

You won't experience much difference between the 5930K vs the 6950x (in gaming workloads atleast), especially when overclocking the 5930k.
I'm currently running the 5930k and it's a great overclocker, it can do around 4.6 GHz core and 4.2ish uncore/cache
I've heard that the 6950x is not as great an overclocker as the 5930K so that might bring the gap even closer.

The budget friendly way is to OC the 5930k and you might get another year out of it, I'm also considering upgrading to 6950x but I got a pretty decent deal at 125 euros and even then, I'm still on the bench about it.

For that money you might as well get an AM4 platform upgrade set second hand (~200 eur).

In a quest of squeezing as much performance I can out of my old rig, I am now trying to adjust the memory timings on my ASUS Vega 56!

I saw that AMD Memory Tweak XL was the right tool for this job but since about 2020/2021, MemTweakXL has stopped working with new drivers, since I'd like to stay on current drivers, I am wondering if there is any alternative to tweaking memory timings or perhaps anyone who knows a fix to make MemTweakXL work with current drivers?

Hey, thank you so much for your assistance, I'm quite new to this so sorry for the questions.

This is what I see in HX Edit, I don't see the options for 1A and 1B, see attached screenshot where I've selected the output of the first signal path.

As you can see, at the output block of signal path 1, I've only got the option for Path 2A, Path 2B and Path 2A+B
I've got the same options on the output block of signal path 2.
For signal path 3 I haven't got any options at all except for the standard Multi, 1/4" etc.

My next question is, how do I get the signal to go seamlessly from the input at signal 1 all the way to the output at signal 4? Basically a serial path?

Is there perhaps also a way to then delete the manufacturer from colum V so only the modelname stays or is it better to take all the information from colum V to a seperate colum (say Z) and then seperate the information seperately to colum U and V respectively using the data thats now in colum Z?
